For American Express Platinum Card’s 40th anniversary, Amex teamed up with restaurants to feature iconic dining experiences across the country. This year, Sarma, one of Boston’s most highly regarded restaurants made the cut and I had the privilege to try Sarma during this special event.
Sarma, located in Somerville is a special combination of neighborhood feel and Boston charm. Unassuming from the outside with no frills on the inside, Sarma lets their food; drinks; and friendly atmosphere speak for itself. Sarma offers mediterranean dishes, served tapas style, ranging from homemade breads to vegetable and meat focused dishes, to unique desserts. Each dish is complex, featuring a variety of ingredients, flavors and textures. As the dishes are complex, Sarma may not be for everybody, but if you value a culinary experience and multifaceted dishes, Sarma is a great place for your next wholesome dinner out.
