Overlooking Paris-inspired Commonwealth Avenue and sat on a bustling corning, our dinner was the perfect setting to enjoy good food, good wine, good weather, good people watching, and good company. The dinner took nearly three hours, all of which was complemented by knowledgeable staff and an extensive liquor and wine list. The staff was attentive but mindful so not to interrupt good conversation.
The house signature, duck confit, was tender and complemented by a variety of summer flavors and supplements.
Their traditional tartare and carpaccio is a duet of two dishes classic dishes presented in less classic ways- together. For entree, we opted for the strip steak and duck with our only grievance being a slight overcooking on the beef.
Be sure to save room for dessert as they will not disappoint. We finished with a rare pour of whiskey along with their seasonal dessert and soufflé- both of which had us debating licking the plate.
